911 Call Disruption

The Suffolk County 911 system is experiencing issues with certain cell carriers when attempting to dial 911 for emergencies in which callers receive a busy signal. This problem is currently being addressed and worked on, however we urge all residents that if you call 911 from a cell phone and receive a busy signal, hang up and dial 631-765-2600 to receive our Dispatch Center until this issue is resolved.
