ABOUT JILL DOHERTY

Jill Doherty was elected Southold Trustee in 2005. She served as Vice President and President before being elected to the Town Board in 2012. Jill is a proven, steady hand for our town. Jill Doherty understands our town and our priorities. She's boosting our economy, preserving local land, creating unique housing solutions, and improving services.   2. Spearheading the Towns new housing plan which will create unique housing solutions for our community.                                                                                                                                                                         

  3. Preserving thousands of acres of land in Southold.                                                                                                                                                        

  4. Updating safety protocols in Town Buildings. Working on getting the Southold Police Department accredited to ensure the safety of our Community. Working towards construction of a new police dept. and a new court building.                                                                                                                                                                 

  5. Working with our local hospital to provide enhanced services.
